Hi I’m Katie! I am a Licensed Social Worker after receiving my Master of Social Work from the University of Massachusetts Global. I have a deep passion for supporting individuals in their personal growth and self-exploration. I have training in Synergetic Play Therapy and Child Centered Play Therapy as well as CBT, DBT, ACT and Trauma-Focused & Somatic Modalities.
I have extensive experience working with children, including those with intellectual disabilities, as well as adolescents and young adults. I am dedicated to fostering emotional and psychological development in diverse populations. Drawing on a background rooted in empathy and a commitment to understanding the underlying reasons behind human behavior, I am focused on creating a therapeutic environment that promotes healing, self-awareness, and growth.
I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, and combine therapeutic techniques with a compassionate, client-centered approach to facilitate positive change and empower individuals to thrive.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my dog and cat, being in nature, and deepening my connections with friends and my community.
