“Karen brings a rich and varied professional background to her work as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She spent most of her career working with children and teens in roles including parent, substitute teacher, special education teacher, psychological examiner, and school-based therapist. Over time, she discovered an equally strong passion for supporting caregivers and adults, which ultimately led her to pursue licensure as an LPC in mid-life.
This diverse experience uniquely equips Karen to work with individuals of all ages with high-functioning autism, ADHD (diagnosed or undiagnosed), and learning differences. As an individual therapist, she has supported adults across all stages of life in addressing past and present challenges, strengthening self-understanding, and building lives that align with their values and goals.
