About Karen O’Donnell

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a background working in a variety of settings. I graduated from Regis College in 2020, and during that time I worked in a group home, in a CBAT unit, and at the Gifford School in Weston. Prior to working at Ellie Mental Health, I worked at Riverside Community Care in Community Based Services.

I am an outpatient therapist that works to support my clients through frameworks that are individualized based on the clients strengths and needs. Through an approach of being open and warm with each client, I plan to work with my client on making positive changes and reach goals together. I use a strengths based approach while utilizing CBT and mindfulness to help the client get the most out of each session with me, and gain the tools to be successful outside of therapy. I specialize in working with children and adolescents, but I am able and open to working with people of any age and background. I am flexible in being able to meet in person or virtually, so whatever works best for you works for me.
