About Kara Rothschild-Rode
Kara Rothschild-Rode is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania as well as a nationally credentialed Board-Certified Art Therapist. She has spent over a decade in non-profits and is extremely passionate about the mental health field and the individuals she works with. Her approach to therapy is person-centered and she uses a combination of Art Therapy and traditional verbal therapy techniques in her sessions. She has extensive experience helping adults that have depression, anxiety, schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorders, and mood disorders. Of particular interest is working with people of all ages that identify as LGBTQ+.
When not at work, Kara enjoys spending time with her partner and their cats, cooking and baking (especially the eating part!), engaging in various physical activities, making art work of her own, and being outdoors surrounded by nature.
