I help teens and adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma (PTSD and C-PTSD), and life transitions. I especially enjoy working with survivors of trauma and childhood trauma, immigrants and refugees, and individuals in cross-cultural relationships.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply trying to make sense of your experiences, you don’t have to do it alone. I aim to create a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and explore your story without having it all figured out. We’ll move at your pace, and all parts of your experience are welcome- no judgment here!
My approach includes Person-Centered, Gestalt, Narrative, Attachment, and CBT theories and interventions.
I credit much of my curiosity and interest in people’s stories to years working with refugees and immigrants in the Denver area. I learned a tremendous amount about trauma, resilience, and my own privilege through those who shared their stories and lives with me, and this work ultimately inspired me to become a therapist.
Outside of the counseling space, I enjoy “grandma hobbies” like knitting, sewing, and quilting. I am an avid reader, a mediocre-at-best skier, a novice student in the Dari/ Farsi language, and fluent in reggaeton.
