Katie holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and brings experience as a school counselor across all grade levels. Her clinical training includes individual, couples, family, group, and play therapy, preparing her to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
Katie is committed to creating a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, express themselves openly, and pursue their goals. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and integrates this trauma-focused approach with other evidence-based practices to support healing and growth.
In addition to her broad counseling background, Katie has a unique passion for helping clients overcome fear and anxiety related to horseback riding. She combines her personal love of horses with her professional expertise to help riders feel more confident, capable, and at ease.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys riding her horses, spending time with her dogs, and being with family.
