Life can feel like a lot when anxiety, stress, or self-doubt start taking up more space than you would like. I work with older teens, college students, and young adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, worried, or unsure of what comes next. You may be dealing with pressure from school or work, changes in your relationships, family expectations, or the general uncertainty of figuring out adulthood. Therapy can be a place to slow things down, understand what is getting in the way, and decide what you want to do next.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. Sessions may involve talking through difficult experiences, identifying patterns, practicing new skills, or finding a more manageable way to approach something difficult. I aim to create space for both processing and practical problem-solving based on what you need at that point in your life.
I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed coping skills, strengths-based therapy, and a person-centered approach. My goal is not to hand you a list of generic coping skills and send you on your way. We will work together to understand what is getting in the way and find tools that realistically fit your life, needs, and personality.
Starting therapy can feel uncomfortable when you do not know what to expect or where to begin. I aim to make the process feel approachable and create a space where you can be honest, feel understood, and show up as yourself. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bradley University and am passionate about helping clients feel more confident in themselves and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges.
