Our Director, Dr. Jo identifies as creative, innovative, and authentic. Along with providing direct care to clients, she has experience leading clinical teams in diverse community mental health settings. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology, is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, and a National Certified Counselor. Her specialties include trauma recovery for individuals and couples. Dr. Jo’s education and experience has resulted in her being an innovative therapist.
In her therapeutic practice, she utilizes psychotherapy approaches such as CBT, DBT EMDR, and shares her respect and awareness of social and cultural influences. As a therapist, she enjoys providing treatment for humans who struggle with managing emotions and daily life.
