There are seasons in life when what once felt familiar no longer does, when loss, change, or uncertainty asks more of us than we know how to give. Therapy cannot remove these moments, but it can offer a place to remain with them long enough for understanding to emerge. I believe we are shaped by our experiences without being confined to them, and that healing often begins when we meet ourselves with greater curiosity, compassion, and patience. My hope is to offer a warm, collaborative space where each person’s story is welcomed with care and respect.
I earned my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with a Trauma Concentration from Boston College. I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and life transitions.
My approach is rooted in person centered therapy and thoughtfully integrates psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, existential, and expressive arts approaches, adapting therapy to each person’s unique strengths, needs, and goals. My own experiences as an immigrant and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community have deepened my appreciation for the ways culture, identity, and belonging shape our lives, and they continue to inform the therapist I strive to be. I believe meaningful change grows not from having all the answers, but from feeling deeply heard, understood, and supported as we make sense of life experiences together. I provide therapy in both English and Mandarin.
