Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 16 years of experience helping people navigate the complicated, overwhelming, and sometimes unexpected seasons of life. My goal is to create a space where you can be completely yourself, feel genuinely understood, and know that you don’t have to figure everything out alone.
I have a special passion for supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, parenting, caregiving, aging, and other significant life transitions. I also work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief and loss, chronic illness, and adjustment to major changes. While these are areas close to my heart, I welcome clients from all walks of life and believe therapy should always be personalized to the person sitting in front of me.
If you’re looking for a therapist who simply sits quietly and nods, I may not be your person, and that’s okay! My style is warm, genuine, interactive, and collaborative. I’ll listen and make space for the hard things, but I’ll also ask questions, offer perspective, teach practical tools, celebrate progress, and gently challenge you when it can help you grow.
I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-informed care, mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Rather than using the same approach with everyone, we’ll figure out what works best for you and your goals.
Therapy can involve difficult conversations and meaningful reflection, but it can also include humor, connection, and moments when things finally start to make sense. Clients often describe me as warm, authentic, compassionate, and easy to talk to, and creating that genuine connection is incredibly important to me.
Whether you’re adjusting to a new chapter, carrying more than you feel you can handle, grieving a loss, navigating motherhood or caregiving, or simply wanting to feel more like yourself again, we’ll start where you are and work together toward where you want to be.
Outside of the therapy room, I love spending time with my family, getting my hands dirty in the garden, relaxing around the fire pit, tackling home renovation projects, getting lost in a good book, and traveling to new places.
