Jazz has professional certifications in animal-assisted and mindfulness-based interventions. You’ll be warmly greeted by Finn, her current medical alert dog/co-therapist in training, when he’s “on-duty.” Together, they create transformative healing through the power of the human-animal bond. Animals offer many children, trauma survivors, and neurodivergent individuals a uniquely safe and trusting connection that’s harder to find elsewhere. Jazz has dedicated the past decade to working with individuals and families, trusting that recovery and personal growth are always possible. She creates a nurturing, validating space to engage your senses, stay grounded in the present, and move forward at your own pace. Her care is inclusive, honoring every part of who you are.
Expertise in complex trauma and PTSD, sexual abuse recovery, neurodevelopmental and learning conditions (ADHD, autism, dyslexia, OCD, SPD), dissociative disorders, domestic violence recovery, chronic illness, medication management support (with active provider), prenatal/postnatal, mood disorders, emotional and behavioral strategies, cultural identity exploration, and family healing. Extensively integrating evidence-based approaches in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Somatic Therapy, Polyvagal-Informed Therapy, Animal-Assisted Interventions (AAI), Experiential Therapy (art, play, sand, movement, role-plays), Sensory-Based Interventions, Attachment Work, and offering Disability Accommodation Consultation.
When she’s not in session, Jazz is outside with the animals or relaxing with her spouse. She fuels her passion for this work through intentional spirituality, self-care, good food, and authentic connection.
