Hi, I’m Jamie—and I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be real, not perfect. As a Colorado Springs native with deep roots in this community, I feel genuinely honored to support the people who live in this area. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from UCCS and hold an Licensed Social Worker (LSW) license.
My background includes several years of experience working with adolescents and families, along with crisis mental health work in a pediatric emergency department, where I supported youth and adults through high-stress, often overwhelming situations. I work with adolescents and adults, with a focus on trauma, teens, crisis support, and ADHD. I aim to create a space where you can show up as you are—without judgment or pressure. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, so I try to keep things real, collaborative, and grounded from the start. My approach is trauma-informed and rooted in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns while also building practical tools that can be used in everyday life.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, navigating a difficult season, or trying to make sense of past experiences, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. My experience in the emergency department shaped how I show up as a therapist. I’m comfortable sitting with intense emotions, helping you find stability in the moment, and working through situations that feel urgent or overwhelming. At the same time, I value creating a steady, supportive space where longer-term growth can happen.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, and being with my family.
