Isaac is a Marriage and Family Therapist who believes therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation rather than an interview, and he strives to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves while also feeling challenged to grow. Isaac values authenticity, curiosity, and collaboration, and believes that meaningful change often begins with feeling truly understood.
Isaac earned his Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of New Hampshire and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Colorado Boulder. His clinical experience includes outpatient community mental health, university-based therapy, and skilled nursing settings, where he has worked with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan. He has experience supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, family conflict, grief, life transitions, and stress.
As a systemic therapist, Isaac enjoys helping clients understand not only what’s happening in their lives today, but also the relationships, experiences, and patterns that have shaped how they see themselves and others. His approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each client’s unique goals. He draws from Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Bowen Family Systems Theory, Solution-Focused Therapy, and other evidence-based approaches to meet clients where they are.
Outside of the therapy room, Isaac enjoys reading, playing piano, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. He takes his work seriously, but not himself, and thinks life is usually better with a little curiosity, a little humor, and fresh air.
