India Whitaker is an Associate Professional Counselor who believes therapy should be a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported without judgment. She enjoys working with adolescents, teens, adults, couples, and veterans, and recognizes that every person brings their own experiences, strengths, and challenges into the therapeutic process.
Her approach to counseling is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore patterns of thinking and behavior, recognize their strengths, and work toward meaningful change. She believes therapy should meet clients where they are while also helping them move toward where they want to be.
India became a counselor because she believes people deserve a safe space to be honest about what they are experiencing without feeling judged or misunderstood. Whether clients are working through a difficult season, navigating relationships, processing past experiences, or simply trying to better understand themselves, she wants to help them feel supported throughout that process.
Her goal is to build a genuine therapeutic relationship where clients feel comfortable being themselves, empowered to make decisions that are right for them, and confident in their ability to create positive change in their lives.
