Emily is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (RCSWI) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Simmons University and experience in a psychiatric hospital setting. She works with adults navigating depression, anxiety, grief, relationship concerns, and significant life transitions.
Emily integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic principles, and strengths-based interventions to provide individualized, collaborative care. She values the therapeutic relationship and strives to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and understood.
Emily has a special interest in working with adults who feel stuck or are seeking meaningful change. She also welcomes individuals who may feel apprehensive about therapy or who have had previous experiences that did not meet their needs. Treatment goals are developed collaboratively and tailored to each client’s unique needs and strengths.
Emily works with individuals and couples ages 18 and older and provides an affirming, inclusive space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys cheering on the Green Bay Packers, watching soccer, and spending time with family, her dog, and her kickball and volleyball teammates.
Emily’s message to prospective clients: You don’t have to be at your lowest point to seek support. Feeling stuck or ready for something to change is enough reason to reach out.
