About Em Wexler
Em (they/them) is a Board Certified Music Therapist and a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor. They are passionate about trauma healing, working with the LGBTQ+ community, and using music as a tool for self-expression, exploration, connection, and healing. Prior to joining the Ellie team, Em worked as a clinician in community mental health, doing outpatient therapy as well as family-based therapy, serving a wide range of ages, populations, experiences, and identities. They are incredibly excited to continue utilizing a diverse range of therapeutic approaches to uniquely fit the needs of each individual they serve at Ellie.
Em is obsessed with their 3 fur babies, including 2 dogs and 1 cat, and spends a lot of time cuddling with them on the couch while watching documentaries. Em also loves crafting, making music, spending time in nature, exercising & doing yoga, and going on adventures with their partner, Raffi.
