Eliza Griffin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is committed to creating a warm,
supportive, and judgment-free environment where clients feel comfortable being their authentic selves. She believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most meaningful catalysts for healing and growth. Eliza is also passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and helping clients recognize that seeking support is a natural part of being human.
Eliza incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients build self-awareness, recognize unhelpful thought patterns, and develop more adaptive ways of thinking. She also draws from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients strengthen emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and coping skills. When working with children, Eliza adapts treatment to each child’s developmental level and incorporates their individual hobbies and interests to make therapy engaging and meaningful. Eliza also incorporates values-based interventions and explores the concept of locus of control, helping clients identify what is within their power and
take meaningful steps toward the life they want to create.
Eliza believes therapy should be a collaborative process in which clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. She strives to help each person better understand themselves, recognize their strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and make changes that align with their values and goals.
