Palatine – Downtown

I am a bilingual English- and Spanish-speaking therapist working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your authentic self, work through difficult emotions, and feel supported without judgment, with room for a little humor along the way.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and personalized to each person’s strengths, experiences, and goals. Drawing from my experience in a therapeutic day school, I use play-based therapy, developmentally appropriate activities, and Social-Emotional Learning strategies to help children build emotional awareness, communication, and coping skills. With teens, I focus on identity, self-esteem, relationships, school stress, emotional regulation, and healthy communication. With young adults, we may explore anxiety, independence, relationships, boundaries, career or academic stress, and life transitions.
As a Mexican American, I understand how culture, family, language, immigration experiences, traditions, and expectations can shape how we see ourselves and the world around us. I provide culturally responsive care rooted in curiosity, respect, and an understanding that each person’s experience is unique.
Above all, I strive to build relationships grounded in empathy, authenticity, and trust. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, or life changes, I will meet you where you are and work alongside you toward greater understanding, confidence, and growth.
