About Catherine Van Sprang
Catherine is a Licensed Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University in New Jersey. Catherine has experience working with teens, adults, and couples and is very passionate about every client’s individual needs. Catherine utilizes trauma-informed and client-centered approaches in combination with psychodynamic frameworks. Catherine believes the client is the best and only expert of their stories – the past and present are all significant in treatment. Some modalities Catherine uses are, CBT, DBT, and narrative therapy. Catherine specializes working with those struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and relationship conflict. In her free time Catherine enjoys going on walks with her dog, reading, and spending time with friends.
