About Casey Kurz

Casey is a trauma-informed Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern providing outpatient therapy at Ellie Mental Health. Casey supports children and adults navigating anxiety, intrusive thoughts, trauma, and challenging relationship patterns. With a compassionate, collaborative approach, Casey believes therapy should be a space where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment.

Casey integrates EMDR, somatic parts work, and attachment-based therapy to help clients better understand the connection between their experiences, emotions, relationships, and nervous system. Rather than simply focusing on managing symptoms, Casey works collaboratively with clients to explore what may be happening beneath the surface and support healing at the root.

Casey is LGBTQIA+ affirming and is committed to creating a warm, attuned environment where clients can feel safe being their authentic selves. Whether clients are working through past experiences, navigating difficult relationships, or simply feeling stuck, Casey offers support in developing greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, resilience, and connection.

Outside of therapy, Casey enjoys crafting, spending time outdoors, and finding creative ways to recharge and stay grounded.
