Maybe anxiety has you feeling overwhelmed, stuck in the same patterns, or just not quite like yourself lately. Maybe your child (5+) is having a hard time managing big feelings or anger, your teen is struggling to open up, or family conflict has made home more stressful. Many of my clients have spent a long time trying to figure things out on their own. Sessions with me are warm, collaborative, and direct. Together, we notice patterns, understand what’s underneath them, and build practical tools so you can feel more confident. I especially love working with adoptees, college students, and neurodivergent clients.
Therapy with me isn’t one-size-fits-all. With kids, we might play, get creative, or practice navigating big emotions. With teens and adults, it’s conversation, exploring patterns, and building practical skills for everyday life. I bring curiosity, honesty, and humor into our work. I see clients in person in Broomfield, CO and virtually anywhere in Colorado.
Before joining our team, I worked with individuals experiencing psychosis and substance use challenges, as well as young children navigating trauma and behavioral difficulties. As an adoptee, I bring a personal understanding of the unique experiences that can come with adoption. Outside the therapy room, I’m usually planning my next adventure (I’ve traveled to 30 countries!), trying a new baking recipe, or spending time with my chocolate Lab puppy, Sully.
We don’t have to dive into everything at once. We’ll figure out where to start together, at your own pace. If you’re feeling stuck, going through something difficult, or simply want to understand yourself better, I’d love to work with you. Therapy doesn’t have to look a certain way, and you’re welcome here just as you are.
