Caitlin Clay, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Loyola University. Caitlin finds immense joy in working with young adults, helping them navigate the day-to-day stressors that come with this stage of life. She empowers them with practical skills and coping mechanisms, often drawing from therapeutic modalities such as mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Her approach is about equipping young adults to better understand their emotions, build resilience, and ultimately thrive.
Caitlin also specializes in working with adoptive children and families. She has extensive experience with children aged 4-18 and their adoptive caregivers. Caitlin is skilled in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), certified in Theraplay, and incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a strength-based approach when appropriate.
She is dedicated to meeting all clients where they are, assisting families in strengthening their bonds, and guiding individuals to reach their full potential. Caitlin values her clients’ expertise in their unique strengths and challenges, fostering a collaborative therapeutic journey tailored to their goals and aspirations.
When not at work, Caitlin enjoys diving into a good book, creating art on canvases, or strolling with her dogs, Boogie & Roxy.
