Life can feel overwhelming at times, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, feeling stuck during a life transition, managing difficult emotions, or simply looking to better understand yourself, Brook is passionate about helping you build the confidence and tools to move forward.
Brook is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) who earned her Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rutgers University and her Bachelor of Science in Psychological Sciences from Rowan University.
She works with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, life transitions, and a variety of other mental health concerns. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, sensory regulation strategies, and solution-focused therapy, she creates individualized treatment plans that help clients build practical skills they can carry with them long after therapy ends.
Before becoming a therapist, she gained valuable experience providing individual and group therapy in community mental health settings, serving as a substitute teacher for students in PreK–12, and supporting individuals through a mental health helpline. These experiences inspired her passion for working with children, adolescents, and young adults, believing that early intervention can help build resilience, healthy coping skills, and a strong foundation for lifelong emotional well-being. She finds it especially rewarding to empower young people with the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges while continuing to have a special passion for supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).
Outside the office, you’ll likely find Brook exploring hiking trails, practicing yoga, cooking, discovering a new coffee shop, listening to music, or spending time outdoors. She believes that balance, movement, and moments of rest all play an important role in emotional wellness and strives to help clients create that same balance in their own lives.
**Brook’s mission is simple:** to help every client leave each session feeling heard, supported, empowered, and more hopeful than when they arrived.
