About Bradley Smith
Bradley is a pre-doctoral therapist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. He is completing his Doctorate at KCU and has 4 years of experience working in forensic, state hospital, and community mental health settings.
Bradley is a person-centered therapist who integrates mindfulness-based interventions with an acceptance and commitment therapy approach to support clients in their wellness journey. Bradley discovered his passion for assisting clients with issues of emotion dysregulation, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal effectiveness through his experiences providing individual psychotherapy, facilitating group therapy sessions, and conducting psychodiagnostic assessments with diverse client presentations.
Bradley largely credits his continued drive to support unique clientele to having been afforded the opportunity to work across the country with a range of clients in a variety of settings. From the warmth of the Midwest having worked in Missouri, to the lively spirit of San Francisco, Bradley is happy to be bringing his skills back home to Ohio.
Bradley has valued working with and is encouraged to continue learning from each of his client encounters. His approach centers around fostering a safe and nonjudgmental environment in order to collaboratively explore and navigate the many challenges and stressors faced by clients. Bradley aims to help guide clients in discovering meaning in difficult situations, resolving conflicts and uncertainty throughout their lives, and bolstering their own expertise in handling whatever might come their way in the future.
