I’ve worked with people experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, grief, trauma, family and relationship difficulties, major life changes, behavioral concerns, developmental disabilities, psychosis, and school or work-related stress. No matter what brings you to therapy, I want you to have a place where you can be yourself, talk openly, and feel like the person sitting across from you actually wants to understand you.
My style is relaxed, down-to-earth, and often includes some humor. At the same time, I believe good therapy should challenge us. Sometimes growth means looking at patterns that aren’t working anymore, trying something different, or becoming more confident in handling things that once felt overwhelming. My goal is to help you recognize your strengths, better understand yourself, and make meaningful progress at a pace that works for you.
I also really enjoy working with kids and teens. When a young person comes to therapy, I believe parents and families can be an important part of the process. Kids and teens deserve their own space to talk and be heard, while parents deserve support in understanding what their child may be experiencing. When appropriate, I work with the whole family to improve communication, strengthen relationships, and help everyone feel like they’re working together rather than against each other.
And yes, I’m a pretty big nerd. You’ll probably figure that out as soon as you see the Pokémon Legos in my office. Outside of work, I enjoy video games, Marvel, Star Wars, and spending time with friends. I also love learning about my clients’ interests because therapy doesn’t always have to focus on the hard stuff.
Whether you’re looking for support for yourself or searching for the right therapist for your child, I’d love the opportunity to connect. Schedule your first appointment when you’re ready, and I look forward to meeting you.
