About Bailey Thirtyacre

Bailey M. Thirtyacre is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who has an M.S. in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling and a B.S. in Psychology with a concentration in Behavioral Neuroscience. Bailey is committed to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health through education, advocacy, and compassionate care. Bailey uses her background in Behavioral Neuroscience to engage clients in education surrounding the physical and structural impacts that trauma can have on the brain. Bailey believes that meaningful change begins in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered. By fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship, she encourages clients to build insight, develop practical coping strategies, and create lasting, positive change. Her approach emphasizes empathy, evidence-based interventions, and respect for each person’s unique experiences and goals.

Bailey began her career working at a supervised visitation center, where she supported adults experiencing addiction, domestic violence, and homelessness while also working with children in foster care and residential group homes who had experienced significant trauma. She later transitioned to a hospital setting, where she conducted crisis assessments and provided outpatient therapy services. Bailey has experience working with children, adolescents, and families, providing treatment for depression, anxiety, trauma, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, as well as other behavioral and emotional concerns. She has specialized training and experience serving individuals from infancy through adolescence (ages 0–18) and is committed to delivering developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed care that meets the unique needs of each client and family.

Bailey has received specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and attachment-based interventions. She is also certified in PEERS® for Preschoolers, an evidence-based social skills intervention designed to support young children in developing meaningful peer relationships and social competence. By integrating these evidence-based approaches into treatment, Bailey tailors care to each client’s developmental needs while promoting emotional regulation, resilience, healthy relationships, and long-term well-being.
