My experience includes working with a wide range of clients, such as survivors of domestic violence, refugees and displaced persons, as well as individuals navigating mood disorders, trauma, and substance use challenges. These experiences have shaped my deep respect for the resilience of the human spirit and the importance of culturally responsive, trauma-responsive care.
I draw on a range of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and weave these tools into a psychodynamic and strengths-based framework. This integrative approach allows me to tailor therapy to your individual needs, goals, and lived experiences.
In our work together, I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and understood. Healing begins with trust, and I am committed to building a therapeutic relationship where you feel comfortable being your authentic self. We’ll explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at a pace that feels right for you.
