From helping kids & teens build confidence, learning how to talk with each other, and find joy again to helping adults navigate real world stresses, rewrite their story, find resilience and empowerment, and find time to laugh and breathe, I am here.
Life can feel lonely, hopeless, stressful, chaotic, noisy (or insert adjective choice here). My hope is to embark on a journey with you to better understand the “why” behind the struggles, determine what we can control versus need to let go as the “driver” of our lives (cue “Jesus Take the Wheel” chorus in Carrie Underwood’s song or Beatles’ “Let it Be”), learn how to cope, and give ourselves permission to feel all the feelings we have.
I utilize a blend of person-centered, narrative, existentialism, humanistic, dialetica-behavioral therapy (DBT) and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) in my practice. I also offer Christian counseling upon request. I also strive on providing a strength based, collaborative and culturally sensitive approach.
No CPS, APS, court mandated or active court cases.
18-40 years old.
Has Sliding Scale.
Treatment focus: anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, relationship difficulties, and adjustment struggles.
