Amber is a Licensed Social Worker who is passionate about helping adolescents, teens, and young adults navigate the challenges that can come with growing, changing, and finding their place in the world.
Her goal is to help clients make sense of what they are experiencing, develop practical tools for managing difficult emotions, and build the confidence and resilience needed to navigate life with greater ease.
She earned her Master’s in Social Work from Monmouth University, with a concentration in Clinical Practice with Children and Families. Amber has experience working in both school and outpatient settings, supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, grief, low self-esteem, life transitions, and performance-related pressures in academics and athletics, among other concerns.
Amber takes a collaborative and individualized approach to therapy, recognizing that no two clients—or their experiences—are exactly alike. She works alongside each client to identify their strengths, understand the challenges holding them back, and develop strategies that feel realistic and meaningful in their everyday lives. Whether a client is struggling with overwhelming emotions, feeling stuck, adjusting to change, or simply trying to better understand themselves, Amber provides a supportive environment where they can slow down, feel heard, and begin moving forward.
Outside of her clinical work, Amber enjoys reading, watching hockey, going for walks, and spending time with her pets. She values the importance of finding balance, making time for the things that bring joy, and recognizing that self-care is an essential part of overall well-being.
