As a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern, Amanda provides a warm, welcoming space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted. She works with children ages 5 and up, adolescents, and adults, and believes that the best therapy happens when working together. Her role is to help uncover strengths, gain new perspectives, and build the tools needed to move forward with confidence.
Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Amanda will help you better understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while identifying practical strategies that create meaningful change. Most importantly, she will create a judgment-free environment where you can show up exactly as you are.
Amanda will help you celebrate your strengths, build on past successes, and develop realistic solutions that fit your unique goals and circumstances. No matter where you are in your journey, you deserve a space where you feel supported, empowered, and encouraged to grow.
When not counseling, Amanda can often be found at the gym, spending time with family, or diving into creative projects. She enjoys crafting with her Cricut, finger knitting, and exploring new hobbies that allow her to recharge and stay balanced. She believes in creativity, self-care, and connection as important parts of maintaining overall wellness, and she bring that perspective into her work with clients.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. Amanda looks forward to walking alongside you on your path toward healing, growth, and the life you want to create.
