About Alexis Beam
Alexis (Lexie) Beam is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) graduate student at Wright State University. After earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology, she began her CMHC journey in Fall 2024 and is expected to graduate in Summer 2027.
Lexie has a special interest in working with both adults and young adults who are navigating trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and the challenges of everyday life.
Lexie chose to become a counselor because she has always valued hearing people’s stories and understanding the experiences that have shaped their lives. She supports individuals through their struggles and remind them that they do not have to face difficult moments alone. She strongly believes that everyone deserves to feel heard, seen, and understood.
