Ali enjoys working with children, teens, and young adults as they make sense of the emotions and experiences that shape their lives. She has a particular interest in supporting young people through anxiety, emotional regulation, family conflict, identity development, self-esteem, life transitions, and the effects of trauma or other difficult experiences.
Her work is grounded in the belief that therapy does not have to look the same for everyone. Especially with younger clients, Ali uses creativity and age-appropriate activities to make therapy feel approachable. She draws from play therapy, mindfulness, and CBT-informed interventions to help clients better understand their emotions, develop coping skills, strengthen relationships, and recognize their own strengths. Her style is collaborative and trauma-informed, with an emphasis on building trust and meeting each client where they are.
Ali’s clinical training includes working individually and in groups with children and adolescents around healthy relationships, emotional regulation, family dynamics, identity, and the impact of violence and trauma. She particularly enjoys helping young people find ways to communicate and express things that can be difficult to put into words.
Outside of therapy, Ali loves spending time with her spunky orange cat, Tulip, and getting outside whenever she can.
