I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a master’s degree in Forensic Psychology, and a master’s degree in Clinical Counseling. I’m a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in Nebraska.
My approach to therapy is flexible and individualized because no two people are the same. I draw from a variety of evidence-based and creative approaches, including EMDR, CBT, DBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Geek Therapy, harm reduction, and Seeking Safety. I’m also a Certified Trauma Treatment Professional (CCTP), an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), and a certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider. My additional training includes the Good Lives Model and parental alienation.
Whether you’re working through trauma, mental health concerns, substance use, ADHD, or simply trying to make sense of where you are in life, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you find an approach that works for you.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a novelist, an avid reader, a collector of shiny rocks, a Tarot card enthusiast, and a metal fan. I also spend plenty of time with my partner and kids. I believe therapists are real people too—and I look forward to getting to know the real you.
