About Alecia Hudson
Alecia is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who, in prior roles, has worked previously with individuals, couples, and families in a community-based setting as well as serving children and families within a local school system. With a focus both on the individual and the systems and spaces in which people live, she works with those managing symptoms of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, transition of life stages, relationship challenges and changes, and managing stressors throughout life. Alecia specializes in using a strengths-based model and person-centered approach, with the belief that each client comes as an expert in their own life and experience. With the desire for each client, family and couple to find empowerment and meaningful experience, Alecia utilizes aspects of Motivational interviewing (MI), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and a family/systems model. She hopes to create a safe, empathetic, and comfortable environment with a trauma-informed approach. Alecia currently works with children as young as 10 and those seeking care throughout all stages of life through individual, couples, and family therapy.
