Yu-Hsin Chen, LGPC

Mental Health Therapist

Yu-Hsin Chen is a bilingual Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor who earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Pennsylvania State University. She provides therapy in both English and Mandarin and takes an integrative approach, drawing from person-centered, cognitive behavioral (CBT), psychodynamic, and solution-focused therapies to meet each person’s unique needs and goals.

Yu-Hsin believes therapy isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about creating a space where people can show up as their authentic selves, feel genuinely heard, and navigate life’s challenges together. She strives to foster a warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive environment where individuals feel safe to explore, grow, and build on their strengths. While therapy often involves difficult conversations, she also believes there’s room for laughter and moments of lightness along the way.

She enjoys working with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, grief and loss, identity exploration, self-esteem, and cross-cultural experiences. Yu-Hsin is passionate about helping people build resilience, deepen self-understanding, and create meaningful, lasting change.
