Even the most capable people need a space to pause and breathe. I help adults and young adults who are used to carrying stress quietly find calm, clarity, and relief from the pressure that comes with always being the one who holds it all together. My approach is warm, practical, and focused on helping you reconnect with yourself so you can feel more present and balanced in daily life.
As a bilingual therapist in English and Spanish trained in EMDR, I specialize in supporting first responders, healthcare workers, and other high-stress professionals. Many of my clients are used to intense situations and think they have just learned to handle it better than most. But even resilience needs rest. Therapy can be a space to slow down, process what has been weighing on you, and learn how to reset instead of just push through.
I also work with clients who are navigating stress that runs deeper, whether it comes from family patterns, cultural expectations, or long-standing emotional habits. Together, we focus on understanding where these patterns come from and building new ways to move forward with compassion and confidence.
In sessions, I use EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), along with other evidence-based tools to help you feel grounded and in control again. You will find a supportive, down-to-earth environment where you can take a breath, reflect, and recharge at your own pace.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring new places, and staying connected to my community. These moments of balance are the same kind I hope my clients rediscover for themselves.
