Valerie is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over eight years of experience in the mental health field, specializing in therapeutic foster care, case management, and early intervention services. Throughout her career, Valerie has had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families in need of compassionate, personalized support. Her background includes providing therapeutic care and collaborating with community providers to ensure holistic, effective service delivery. For the past two years, Valerie has worked closely with young children and their families to address developmental delays and disabilities.
Valerie attained her Bachelors in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University, and her Masters in Social Work from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work. She approaches therapy with a focus on empathy, understanding, and collaboration. Her goal is to empower clients and provide them with the tools they need to thrive.
