Sivonna (she/they) graduated from Radford University with a Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Development, specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Sivonna works predominantly from a Humanistic and Postmodernist perspective, while also blending Narrative therapy and REBT (Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy). Sivonna also utilizes techniques to help people frame faulty thinking and develop positive and realistic beliefs about self, others, and the world. Sivonna is passionate about working with people that are ready to work on themselves and change the unhelpful behaviors that were once helpful. Sivonna has worked with clients 18+ that struggle with life transitions, depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, neurodivergence (ADHD, autism, OCD, etc.), C-PTSD, religious trauma, LGBTQIA2S+, and trauma survivors.
