Kristina is a Licensed Professional Counselor that holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and School Counseling. She believes that meeting the client where they are at, using their strengths along with compassion, empathy, and directness helps clients make progress on the goals they have set out when seeking counseling. Kristina mainly uses CBT, DBT, solution focused approaches while using humor, acceptance, and playfulness to build a therapeutic rapport with clients.

Prior to joining Ellie Kristina has 8 years experience in providing counseling services to adults, adolescents, families, and couples in a myriad of settings from residential, Intensive Outpatient, and EAP services. While working in those settings, she has worked with substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, borderline personality, suicidal ideation, self-harming, trauma-related issues, bi-polar disorder, autism, couple’s therapy, and family related issues.

Outside of work, Kristina enjoys spending time with her family, friends and dogs, playing pickleball, disc golf, reading books, and napping.
