Life doesn’t always follow the path we expected. Whether you’re exploring your identity, navigating grief, questioning relationships, coping with substance use, or simply trying to figure out who you are, you deserve a space where every part of you is welcomed without judgment. Kimber believes therapy is most powerful when you don’t have to hide, explain, or apologize for your experiences.
Kimber works with adolescents, adults, and older adults navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, grief, major life transitions, and identity exploration. Their approach is grounded in authenticity, compassion, and the belief that healing happens when people feel safe enough to be fully themselves.
As a queer, nonbinary transgender therapist, Kimber is passionate about creating affirming care for LGBTQIA+ individuals, neurodivergent clients, and people in alternative relationship structures, including polyamorous and kink communities. Kimber understands that many people have spent years feeling misunderstood or pressured to fit expectations that never truly reflected who they are. Therapy offers a space to rediscover authenticity and build a life aligned with your own values.
Kimber also has a strong passion for harm reduction and supporting individuals navigating substance use. Rather than focusing on shame or perfection, they work collaboratively with clients to reduce harm, strengthen coping skills, and create realistic, sustainable goals that honor each person’s readiness for change.
In addition to providing therapy, Kimber is a Certified Death Midwife, bringing specialized training in supporting individuals and families navigating serious illness, anticipatory grief, end-of-life planning, and the emotional complexities surrounding death and dying. They recognize these experiences can bring fear, uncertainty, and profound questions about meaning, connection, and legacy. Kimber provides a compassionate space to process these conversations with dignity and care.
Kimber integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, and harm reduction principles into an individualized approach tailored to each client’s goals. Whether you’re seeking healing, clarity, acceptance, or simply a place where you can finally exhale, Kimber strives to help you move toward a life that feels more authentic, connected, and meaningful.
Outside of therapy, Kimber believes healing often happens through community, creativity, and authentic human connection. They are honored to walk alongside clients through some of life’s most meaningful transitions.
