Kevin is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) and is supervised by Tracy Teimourian LCSW-S. Kevin believes in the transformative power of storytelling and the importance of creating brave spaces where clients can explore their experiences and emotions openly. With a strong academic foundation in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh, Kevin brings several years of experience working with diverse populations across clinical, research, and outpatient/inpatient settings. His expertise lies in supporting children, adolescents, and adults grappling with mental health challenges such as OCD, Depression, and Anxiety. Kevin also has extensive experience in clinical psychology and neuroscience research, which informs his evidence-based therapeutic practice.

Kevin is deeply committed to helping transition-aged youth and young adults navigate mental, behavioral, and emotional challenges. He believes that lifelong learning and growth are essential to providing adequate care for clients and employs an eclectic therapeutic approach that emphasizes client strengths, empowerment, authenticity, and evidence-based practices, which include exposure and response prevention (ERP), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and inference-based CBT.

In addition to his clinical work, Kevin is passionate about addressing mental health stigma within Asian American communities and advocating for improved access to mental health care for refugees and immigrants.

Outside of his professional life, Kevin enjoys engaging in activities such as table tennis, hiking, rock climbing, and disc golf, which help him maintain a balanced and active lifestyle.
