Colleen earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Western Michigan University and is a Licensed Master Social Worker and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. With over 25 years of experience, she has supported individuals and families in a wide range of settings, including community mental health, residential treatment, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Colleen is especially passionate about working with veterans, individuals navigating substance use, and those facing complex life transitions. She brings a calm, down-to-earth presence to sessions and focuses on meeting people where they are—helping them build skills, confidence, and a path forward that feels realistic and meaningful.
Clients often find Colleen easy to connect with and appreciate her genuine, supportive approach. She creates a space where you can show up as you are, while still feeling gently encouraged to grow.
When she’s not working, Colleen enjoys spending time with family and staying connected to her community.
