I want to first honor this step that you’re taking to care for yourself. Whether this is your first time in therapy or your fifth, starting with a new therapist can be scary and overwhelming. It is also one of the most rewarding things you can do, especially when you find the counselor that fits you best.
If you are struggling with or going through any of the following, we may be a good fit and I’d be happy to schedule an intake with you: anxiety, people-pleasing, conflict-avoidance, perfectionism, self-esteem, grief and loss, relationship issues, emerging adulthood challenges, chronic pain/illness, or general life changes and transitions.
In our first sessions together and going forward, I’ll provide a safe, calm, and nonjudgmental space to get to know you, clarify your goals and what your hopes are, and be a guide to help you reach your goals. My heart behind therapy is that you’ll deepen your relationship with yourself and gain valuable tools to be able to navigate life with more peace and confidence.
