Alexis enjoys working with all ages and utilizes therapy techniques from Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral therapies. She has training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and utilizes those techniques in helping those who have experienced trauma heal.  Alexis LOVES to use art in her therapy and often takes a creative approach with all clients in session using art. She also loves games and will often use those to help conversation flow in session with children and teens. She is especially fond of UNO and checkers!

On a personal note, Alexis loves animals and is always excited to hear about her clients’ animal friends! Just know that if a client brings up their pet, they should expect to pay the pet tax and show Alexis a picture of their animal friend. Alexis owns two mischievous cats herself, Moon and Venus!
