Sahibatu (“Sabi”) is a mental health therapist with Ellie Mental Health Manassas who works with children, teens, adults, and older adults facing a wide range of mental health and relationship challenges. She has experience supporting clients with depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia, psychosis, relationship difficulties, and other emotional and behavioral health concerns.
Sabi is a hybrid therapist who provides in-person therapy for clients in Manassas, Prince William County, and surrounding Northern Virginia communities and virtual therapy for clients across Virginia. She works with individuals across different ages, backgrounds, and life experiences and believes that therapy should reflect the unique needs and goals of each person.
Her approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and transparency. Sabi strives to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and supported. She works collaboratively with clients as they explore challenges, recognize their strengths, develop healthier ways of coping, and work toward greater stability and well-being.
Sabi earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Grand Canyon University and is currently working toward clinical licensure.
Outside of the therapy room, Sabi enjoys journaling, dancing, decorating, traveling, exploring nature, and spending quality time with family and friends.
