Feeling stuck doesn’t mean you’re failing. Sometimes, it means something needs to change.
Maybe you’re overwhelmed by anxiety, worn down by depression, or trying to find your footing after a major life change. Maybe you’ve been holding everything together for everyone else while quietly wondering, “When do I get to feel okay?”
I’m Insiya Hasan, a licensed master clinician who works with adults 18 and older throughout Michigan. With more than a decade of clinical experience, I provide a compassionate, supportive space where you can slow things down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and start moving toward the life you want.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin therapy. You just have to be willing to take the first step.
Therapy That Helps You Move Forward
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I believe therapy should be more than simply talking about what’s wrong—it should help you understand yourself, recognize patterns, build useful skills, and create meaningful change.
Together, we’ll identify what’s getting in your way and explore what matters most to you. We’ll build practical strategies for managing difficult thoughts and emotions while strengthening the resilience and confidence you already have.
Sometimes progress looks like finally understanding why you feel the way you do.
Sometimes it looks like setting a boundary, changing a pattern, or learning how to respond differently when anxiety takes over.
And sometimes progress is simply getting through a difficult day without feeling like you’re carrying the entire world on your shoulders.
There is no one-size-fits-all version of healing.
Our work will be shaped around your goals, your strengths, and your life.
Supporting Adults Through Real-Life Challenges
I work with adults experiencing:
Anxiety and excessive worry
Depression and low mood
Major life transitions and adjustment
Stress and feeling overwhelmed
Periods of crisis or emotional breaking points
Challenges with resilience, motivation, and self-care
Changes in mental health and treatment needs
Life doesn’t always follow the plan we had in mind. Relationships change. Careers change. Families change. Health changes. Sometimes we change.
Transitions can leave us questioning who we are, where we’re going, and what comes next.
Therapy can provide a place to step back from the noise and figure out what you actually need.
Experience When You Need More Than a Quick Fix
My clinical background includes more than a decade of experience as a licensed master clinician, including crisis intervention. That experience has taught me that people are often far more resilient than they realize—but resilience doesn’t mean you have to handle everything alone.
I understand that people may seek therapy when things have reached a breaking point. I also believe you don’t have to wait until you’re there.
Whether you’re struggling to get through the day or simply recognize that something isn’t working anymore, therapy can be an opportunity to pause, reset, and develop a different path forward.
My goal isn’t to tell you how you should live your life. You are the expert on you. My role is to help you better understand yourself, identify your strengths, and make choices that move you toward the life you want.
Mental Health Doesn’t Exist in a Vacuum
I also have experience working within integrated care environments, collaborating with primary care providers and psychiatrists to support clients whose mental health needs intersect with other aspects of their healthcare.
When appropriate, therapy can be part of a larger team supporting your overall well-being. I understand that changes in medication or other aspects of treatment can bring their own questions, emotions, and adjustments, and I value coordinated care that keeps the whole person in mind.
A Space Without Judgment
Therapy should be a place where you don’t have to pretend everything is fine.
You can bring the messy thoughts.
The uncertainty.
The frustration.
The things you’ve never said out loud.
The parts of your life you’re proud of—and the parts you’re still trying to understand.
I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where empathy, self-care, and autonomy guide our work together.
You don’t need to perform wellness for me.
You don’t need to have the perfect explanation for why you’re struggling.
We can start exactly where you are.
Your Next Chapter Doesn’t Have to Look Like Your Last
My hope is that therapy helps you feel more in control, more resilient, and more connected to what gives your life meaning.
We’ll work together to develop practical tools while making space for deeper reflection and personal growth. The goal isn’t to create a life without challenges—that isn’t realistic.
The goal is to help you feel better equipped to face those challenges when they come.
