About Dana Pavlu

Dana Pavlu is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience in behavioral health, clinical leadership, and community-based services. Throughout her career, she has worked across outpatient mental health, healthcare, child welfare, and juvenile justice, supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through a wide range of challenges.

As Clinic Director at Ellie Mental Health, Dana is passionate about creating an environment where both clients and clinicians feel supported. She is dedicated to developing strong clinical teams, mentoring and supporting therapists, promoting high-quality client care, and building meaningful partnerships within the communities Ellie serves.

Dana’s approach to leadership is collaborative, approachable, and grounded in authenticity, compassion, humor, and genuine connection. She believes that supporting clinicians in their growth ultimately creates stronger therapeutic relationships and better experiences for clients and families.

Dana earned her Master of Arts in Social Service Administration from The University of Chicago and her Bachelor of Science from West Virginia University.

When she’s not in the office, Dana can often be found cheering on her boys at the baseball field, spending time with family and friends, getting lost in a good book, or heading to the gym.
