Meet Mickey. Mickey works with individuals and couples to help them navigate a wide range of challenges, including family estrangement, infidelity, trust, communication difficulties, anger, aggression, addiction, social isolation, and emotional withdrawal. She helps her clients understand the underlying factors influencing their here and now by using real, yet compassionate, exploration of how relationships, life experiences, family dynamics, and environmental factors have influenced emotional well-being and behaviors. From addressing recurring patterns to developing new ways of relating to self and others, Mickey’s goal is to empower her clients to build self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and move towards the lives they want and deserve.
Mickey is an LCSWA who integrates narrative therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) as she helps her clients resolve internal conflict and behaviors that no longer serve them well. In couples counseling, she incorporates the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, navigate conflict, and strengthen connection.
Mickey understand that seeking therapy can feel intimidating, especially when discussing experiences or decisions that you have found difficult to share. If you have ever worried that a therapist might judge you for your choices, you deserve a space where you can speak openly and honestly without fear of judgement. Therapy with Mickey is a space where you can come as you are and you will feel heard, seen and respected.
