Trauma Therapist | Child & Family Therapist | Natural Lifemanship® Practitioner | Equine Professional | Executive & Leadership Coach
I am a trauma-informed therapist dedicated to helping children, adolescents, adults, families, and professionals heal from adversity, strengthen relationships, regulate their nervous systems, and create meaningful, lasting change. My approach integrates attachment-focused, experiential, somatic, strengths-based, and evidence-based therapies to foster resilience, secure relationships, nervous system regulation, and post-traumatic growth.
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Master of Science in Industrial & Organizational Psychology, and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS), Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC), Certified HeartMath® Practitioner, Coach & Mentor (CHMP), Natural Lifemanship® Practitioner (NLC-P), and Equine Professional (EP). Additional training includes Positive Psychology studies with Dr. Martin Seligman through the University of Pennsylvania, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy training through Polaris Insight Center, Reiki Level II Certification, a two-year advanced astrology program with Debra Silverman, and I am currently a Graduate Candidate in Play Therapy at Capella University.
My clinical specialties include complex trauma, attachment wounds, childhood abuse, incest, sexual abuse, family dysfunction, addiction recovery, codependency, trauma bonding, limerence, Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families (ACOA), neurodivergence, autism, behavioral health, divorce, co-parenting, blended family systems, executive functioning, burnout, and leadership development.
In addition to professional training, I bring meaningful lived experience to my work. As a survivor of severe childhood adversity, including emotional abuse, physical abuse, attachment trauma, family dysfunction, and potential sexual abuse, I understand firsthand the courage required to heal from complex trauma, shame, hypervigilance, family estrangement, and relational wounds. As a melanoma survivor who underwent extensive MOHS surgery and recovery, I also understand the physical and emotional challenges associated with serious health concerns and resilience in the face of uncertainty.
As a business owner, athlete, coach, caregiver, mother of three biological children, and member of a blended family that includes four stepchildren, adoption, and twins, I understand the complexities of parenting, caregiving, family transitions, loyalty conflicts, leadership, and personal transformation.
I believe healing occurs when people feel safe, seen, understood, and empowered. My goal is to help clients move beyond survival, reconnect with their strengths, build healthier relationships, and create lives characterized by authenticity, connection, meaning, and hope.
Together, we move beyond surviving and toward truly living!
