About Roberto Almonaci
Hi, I’m Robbie a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, working under the supervision of Dr. Melissa Gaa, LPC-S. I work with individuals needing help with anxiety, self-criticism, trauma, or addiction, and want to understand themselves on a deeper level and create real, lasting change. Many of the people I work with enjoy learning more about themselves, their parts, and how it all ties together. We explore past and current experiences, social support, relationships, and core beliefs. Healing is another component, which for some, can have a profound impact.
I specialize in trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, and substance use. My approach is focused on creating a space where you feel understood, safe, and secure. I incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS – Level 1 Trained), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and person-centered therapy.
My diverse work experience has shaped my ability to connect with people from many different backgrounds and meet people where they are.
